The innovative brake booster consists of an electromotive powered piston cylinder system and integrated ABS/ESP function. It comprises high precision pressure control as a result of its constant analysis of pressure volume characteristics along with distance sensors and provide a variable pedal feel characteristic. Due to the new development of the EC motor, it is now possible to integrate the multiplex process into the actuator and pressure control system in the form of an adaptive highly dynamic pressure control system. This also allows the simultaneous or partially simulta-neous pressure build-up or reduction in two or more-wheel cylinders with different pressure levels. This patented technology forms the indispensable basis of the integrated braking system.
