Due to the increasing amount of energy recovery during, for example, the start-stop and regenerative braking process, the electrical system has to cope with additional loads. A separation of the battery from the electrical system and using a super-cap and generator for the power supply offers considerable benefits. This patented technology improves the starting aspect of the start-stop function and relieves the battery resulting in fewer failures.
